All new and reconditioned parts are covered by a 12 months manufacturer's warranty unless specifically stated. You should notify us immediately by e-mail to parts@ferrariparts.co.uk if a potential warranty situation arises. We will then advise you of a course of action.
Our guarantee applies only where purchased goods have been used solely for the intended purpose and have not been used in any form of motor sport i.e. racing, rallying, or speed trials.
Note: Brand cross fitting of parts invalidate any warranty claim. I.e. fitting a Ferrari part to a Maserati or vice versa.
Any part supplied that is still currently supplied by Maserati or Ferrari through us as the dealer carries a 12 month warranty. To claim the warranty you have to arrange to present the vehicle with the faulty part fitted at your nearest dealer with proof of purchase. The dealer will open a service entry and establish if the fault is warrantable, if so they should replace the part FOC, and cover the cost of diagnosis time and labour to fit the part.
Note: This is the only way warranty can be claimed on current factory supplied Ferrari and Maserati parts.
You should make contact with us and you will be sent a warranty form which you will be required to complete and send back to us along with the suspected faulty part(s) together with the original invoice or proof of purchase and as much information relating to the problem as possible.
All returns are subject to physical inspection. This may involve returning the part to our supplier to verify the fault before it can be repaired or exchanged. Defective items are backed 100% and can be returned for exchange only.
The warranty period commences from our invoice date not from the date of installation or first use. This warranty covers defects to the part when fitted and used correctly for normal, everyday vehicle use but does not apply to parts used for any extraordinary or unusual uses such as competition, racing, rallying or parts subsequently stripped down, altered, modified or adapted etc. in any way from their original design or intended use.
Although we are, by law, liable for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence and by The Sale of Goods Act 1979, our warranty only covers the parts in question and not to any consequential loss or cost, e.g. garage labour, recovery, carhire, re-delivery, parking fines, failure of a related component etc. No claim will be validated if the failure is caused by mis-use, neglect, overheating, incorrect installation or failure of a related component.
If after testing the returned part is found to have no defect, the customer will be responsible for testing and return freight charges.
Some components require special equipment/ tools and special skills to ensure their successful and safe installation. These should not be fitted unless the correct tools and equipment are available and the necessary level of training has been attended. (e.g.) structural body parts must only be fitted when vehicle is mounted on the recommended jig system using recommended brackets. When considering a warranty claim we may require you to provide evidence of relevant and current staff manufacturer training and correct tooling being used. If this cannot be produced your claim may not be considered.
Any part replaced or repaired under warranty, will only benefit from the balance of the cover remaining from the original purchase date. Warranties are not transferable. Acceptance of goods is deemed as acceptance of these terms. The warranties are in addition to, and do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Our used & serviceable parts supplied from stock carry a one-month warranty and if for some reason a part is found to be defective when fitted (All parts must be fitted by a trained qualified technician using the correct approved manufactured tooling) we may consider either replacing the part or reimburse the value of the part in the form of a credit note to be used with our company which will be valid for 6 months. Parts sourced from a third-party supplier are supplied with no warranty. The only exception would be anything agreed in writing prior to purchase.
Note: Proof that the correct fitment procedure by manufacturer trained staff and correct specialist tooling has been used may be required.
