Returns Policy

All returns must be pre-authorised with a 'Test Credit' returns authorisation confirmed by email. Returned products without a”Test Credit” will be subject to delay and possible return to sender. All returns are subject to a physical inspection. We must have received the item for return in its original packaging and inspected the product before an exchange or credit can be issued. Defective items are backed 100% and can be returned for exchange only.

Returns of Parts Not Required - within 7 days

The right to cancel allows you time to examine the goods. All goods sold by Mail Order are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) (Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Directive 97/7/EC). Regulations, which allow for a seven day 'cooling off' period during which you may cancel your order (in writing) by sending us a letter, fax or e-mail at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which you received your purchase. If you exercise your statutory right to cancel you must immediately return to us (at your own cost), the item(s) that you do not wish to keep. Carriage charges are non-refundable. We will acknowledge receipt of your written cancellation by issuing a 'Test Credit' which should be quoted and accompanied by a proof of purchase or invoice when returning the goods. Please ensure all goods are adequately packed to avoid damage, that you insure them accordingly with the carrier used and obtain a proof of shipment. Please note that all goods must be in the condition supplied at the point of sale and with their original, undamaged packaging. Returns are not permitted on parts specially ordered by Maranello Classic Parts on a customer's behalf also Electrical items unless they are fully sealed and items which have been installed or “tried” are not returnable under any circumstances. The right to cancel does not apply to rubbers, materials which have been cut off rolls, number plates or any other item made to order. If an order was shipped with free shipping, and the order is then returned, we reserve the right to charge the customer for the original shipping. Return shipping charges from the customer to us will only be credited in circumstances of incorrect shipment.

Returns of Parts Not Required - within 7 - 28 days

As an added benefit to Maranello Classic Parts customers and in addition to your statutory cancellation right (as detailed above), returns may be considered outside the 7 day cooling off period up to and including 28 days after you receive your purchase, subject to the following criteria. Please note that any offset, exchange,credit or refund will be at the sole discretion of Maranello Classic Parts. A 'Test Credit' must be applied for within the 7 to 28 day period. Where goods have been correctly supplied, it may be possible to offset the full value of the return against another order of the same or higher value and we reserve the right to issue a credit note rather than returning funds to a card or bank. Returns are not permitted on parts specially ordered by Maranello Classic Parts on a customer's behalf also Electrical items unless they are fully sealed and items which have been installed or 'tried' are not returnable under any circumstances. Returns are also not permitted on rubbers and materials which have been cut off rolls, number plates or any other item made to order. Please note that any refund may be subject to a handling charge (typically 25% min £5) to cover administration and re-stocking costs. Carriage charges are non-refundable. If an order was shipped with free shipping, and the order is then returned, we reserve the right to charge the customer for the original shipping. Return shipping charges from the customer to us will only be credited in circumstances of incorrect shipment. All goods returned for a credit or exchange must be accompanied by our invoice and copy of the 'Test Credit'. Goods must be adequately packed to avoid damage. You should insure them accordingly with the carrier and obtain a proof of shipment. No responsibility can be accepted for goods received by us, damaged. Goods must be in the condition supplied at the point of sale and with their original, undamaged packaging.

Returns of Parts Not Required - Outside 28 days

No returns will be considered after 28 days unless covered by the terms and conditions of our Warranty.

Returns of Exchange 'Old Units'

Old exchange units can be returned up to 24 months from date of invoice. Please contact us prior to returning the old unit for a 'Test Credit'. This speeds up the process of returning the surcharge refund. Please note that old core must be complete and serviceable and drained of fluids where applicable. We reserve the right to retain all or part of the surcharge if the unit is irreparable, damaged or not identical to the type supplied. Old core parts should NOT be dissembled for inspection purposes. The core parts returned MUST be the same as the original part supplied and MUST be returned in the packaging used for the supply of the original part, AND must be safely fixed/fastened in that packaging - failure to comply may result in a charge being levied for any resulting or consequential costs incurred. Returned core parts should NOT be cleaned by abrasive methods such as sandblasting or glass beading. If such cleaning methods have been used and damage has occurred the return core will be rejected and no credit will be issued.

Other Returns

Other returns will be dealt with in accordance with your statutory rights, if applicable, or our warranty.

Used parts not required

We will not accept any used parts back for credit if they have been supplied correctly and fit for purpose.

Returns Processing

Please note that returns are processed as quickly as possible. Returns may take longer to process depending if the component has to be returned to the manufacture for inspection. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Right to Cancel

(Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Directive 97/7/EC). The right to cancel allows you time to examine the goods. The cooling off period starts when the contract is concluded and ends 7 working days after the day the goods are received. The right to cancel does not apply to rubbers, materials which have been cut off rolls, number plates or any other item made to order. When customers exercise the right to cancel they are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and to return them to us in the condition they were supplied. It shall be the responsibility of the customer to cover return postage costs. It is advised that returned items be sent via recorded mail as we cannot be responsible for lost items.

Conditions of Sale

  • All prices and estimates for goods are subject to change without prior notice.
  • All prices are subject to V.A.T at the current rate at time of issue.
  • We shall not be liable for damage in transit or for shortages unless claims in writing are received by us within three working days of delivery, quoting the invoice reference number.
  • Only returned parts that are authorised in writing by the seller will be credited. Specially ordered parts (i.e. not stocked items) will not be credited. Invoice numbers must be quoted in all correspondence.
  • Until received payment in cleared funds for the goods, a binding contract does not come into existence between us..
  • So far as we are able, we will assign to the buyer all our rights conferred on us by our supplier regarding quality of materials used in the goods supplied or repaired. We will return goods to our suppliers for repair or replacement if agreed by them as being defective and have been returned to us carriage paid within six months for new parts and three months for reconditioned or exchange parts, from the date of purchase quoting original invoice number.
  • In terms of delivery, time shall not be of the essence.
  • The ownership of goods supplied, shall not pass to you until you have made payment in full.
  • Should your order require packing, this will be carried out at your cost unless otherwise stated.
  • If we cannot deliver some or all of the goods ordered for reasons beyond our control (including any lack of delivery details or other instructions from you) on account of industrial dispute or stocks being exhausted or parts that are no longer manufactured, we reserve the right to cancel your order subsequent to the stock not being available and shall give notice of such. Any liability for any loss caused is hereby excluded.
  • Some components require special equipment/ tools and special skills to ensure their successful and safe installation. These should not be fitted unless the correct tools and equipment are available and the necessary level of training has been attended. (e.g.) structural body parts must only be fitted when vehicle is mounted on the recommended jig system using recommended brackets.
